Vikings Hockey Director
Nick Pollos, Vikings Hockey Director
Coach Nick enters his 32nd year of coaching hockey at various levels, from Tier II, Tier I and the Jr. A level. Coming off his 2024 U16 National Championship, Coach Nick has now served as a Head Coach in Five USA Hockey National Championships, winning two National Titles, taking one Second Place and one Third Place medal.
In addition to being a Head Coach, Nick has served as a consultant and scout for programs at the Junior A and Pro levels. Coach Nick has worked closely with dozens of players as they prepared to make their NCAA DI & DIII commitments.
Coach Nick grew up in the Chicago area playing his youth hockey in the Northwest Suburbs. As Vikings Hockey Director since 2011, Coach Nick has developed a solid foundation at our younger levels with a focus on skill development and skating. He then concentrates on building upon that foundation as our players move to the older levels. This foundation gives our older teams the skills to continue to develop their game at higher speeds and competitive levels.
